2025 Sounds Like Detroit: Cast Your Vote for the Next Tiny Desk Stars!

Over 150 local musicians entered the 2025 NPR Tiny Desk Contest. While none claimed the national title, Detroit’s talent is truly one of a kind!

Help bring four standout Detroit Tiny Desk performers to the Sounds Like Detroit stage on August 14 at Batch Brewing Company. Hosts Jeff Milo, Liz Warner, and Chris Campbell have selected a band for you to watch—but now it’s up to you to decide who the fourth band to perform for you! Cast your vote between June 17 – July 3, 2025. 

Vote for one of these six bands, and tune in to Jeff Milo’s show in early July when we announce the 2025 Sounds Like Detroit showcase lineup—featuring the hosts’ picks and the fan-favorite performer.
