9a 3p (T-F) 9a - 6p (Sat, Sun)
Price: 19.95 - 24.95

Featuring 36 accidental mummies on loan from the Museo de las Momias de Guanajuato, the exhibition combines science, history and cultural anthropology to immerse the visitor in the world of a Mexican city over 100 years ago where deceased residents naturally mummified in their crypts.

Meet these rare accidental mummies, learn about life in their thriving community, discover the real forensic technology that helps scientists analyze them, and explore a rich culture that reveres and celebrates them. For ages 13 years and older.

Tickets may be purchased up to 48 hours in advance of your visit. You may purchase your tickets the same day at our Visitor Services desk.

Note: The Detroit Science Center will reopen on Monday during the summer.
