Detroit Chamber Winds & Strings’ Nightnotes series presents violinist Adrienne Rönmark and cellist Debra Fayroian as the dynamic, mother-daughter team, the Gamar Duo.  Held in the unique and intimate setting of Hagopian World of Rugs in downtown Birmingham, the performance will take place on Friday, October 17 at 8:30 p.m. A complimentary reception will precede the concert, beginning at 8:00. Fayroian and Rönmark will perform Bohuslav Martinÿ’s Duo No.2 pour Violon et Violoncelle, written only a year before the Czech composer’s death in 1959. Detroit Chamber Winds & Strings is an ensemble ma de up primarily of musicians from the Detroit Symphony and Michigan Opera Theatre Orchestras. In addition to the Nightnotes concerts, DCWS presents an annual, nine-concert subscription series.  For more information, please call 248-559-2095 or visit www.detroitchamberwinds.org.
