Dow Tumbles As Bailout Package Stalls

The Dow Jones Industrial Average has fallen more than 500 points.  The Wall Street reaction comes as the U.S. House of Representatives has tabled voting on a 700 billion dollar bailout package.   The bill was headed towards defeat when it was tabled.  At one point during the day’s trading, the Dow was down as much as 705 points.
